This 4- day hike begins at
Nagarkot, a superb mountain viewing point at 2726m/8943ft. to the northeast of Kathmandu. The trek provides magnificent panoramas of the Great Himalayas-Annapurna, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang,
Gaurishankar, Dorji Lhakpa, Phurbi Gyachu and on a clear day, all the way to Everest in the east. During the trek, you will pass through quite, beautiful forests and finish at
Budhanilkantha, the sacred Hindu shrine where the 1,400 year old stone figure of Lord Vishnu reclines on a bed of serpents. Through relatively close to Kathmandu, few foreign trekkers discover this extraordinarily
beautiful, relatively easy hike.
